ABOUT THE PROJECT

​

This series of images was captured with Allpress Manchester, for an editorial I wrote, curated and shot for Böhm, a Design and Lifestyle-led Estate Agent in Manchester. The ​piece is in conversation with the designer of the space, Deidra Hodgson, who has designed spaces for Allpress, Aesop and Watchouse.

 

The coffee shop is based in the grade II listed Redfern Building in NOMA, Manchester, and the editorial explored the retrofitted building and the nature of the project, as well as the design methodology and concept. 

 

The photography series aimed to balance capturing the space through the lens of architectural photography, but with an editorial focus. The images capture the overall look and feel of the entire space, as well as the details which bring it to life. ​​
