ABOUT THE PROJECT

PINK, a Stockport-based gallery, studio, and event space, occupies a previously abandoned 1960s office block transformed into a hub for emerging artists. Led by founding director Katy Morrison, its curatorial philosophy challenges traditional, emphasising the artistic process, collaboration, and accessibility. This editorial explores the intricacies of the renovation, as well as PINK's curatorial philosophy, and the place that the arts have within society today.

This editorial was written for and appeared in The Böhm Journal. It was researched, interviewed, photographed and published by Ella Wheatley.
